RTMC Astronomy Expo
The 40th annual RTMC Astronomy Expo will take place on Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26, 2008 (Memorial Day weekend). It will be held at YMCA Camp Oakes, five miles southeast of Big Bear City, California. This location is about 50 miles northeast of Riverside in the San Bernardino mountains. NIGHTFALL
Nightfall, an early autumn star party sponsored by RTMC, Inc., will take place on Thursday, October 30 through Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Palm Canyon Resort in Borrego Springs, California. Pacific Astronomy and Telescope Show

SAS Workshops
On Tuesday, May 20, SAS will hold two workshops designed to get the beginning photometrist started or give the advanced researcher insights to some of the popular software tools being used by amateurs.
